Hi, I just wanted to comment on your beautiful church and grounds. I love to visit old churches and cemetaries and decided to take a ride in the country on Saturday along with my GPS. I ended up pulling into the driveway of your church and it is one of the most beautiful church sites I have ever visited!! Absolutely gorgeous!!! I especially loved the front and center headstone of the farm carving. How beautiful....I had a friend with me and we noticed there was one headstone in the back of the cemetary dedicated to 'the colored people'. I thought this was very interesting, thoughtful, gracious and loving. I am from Cedar Grove, NC and my grandfather gave 3 acres to the "colored folks" of the area so they had enough land for a church and graveyard. I just wondered, is this headstone in honor of the slaves of those who built this church? It is just incredible. I will close, but wanted to say you truly live and worship in "God's country"!
